I just added an AI chatbot to a WordPress website, and WOW. I’m impressed!
I’ve been working with websites for years, but this is one of those moments when you realize how much things have changed.
This little bot knows the business. It can answer questions about products, help visitors figure out what theyre looking for, point them in the right direction, and capture their contact info.
At 2 AM. On a Sunday. While the business owner is doing literally anything else.
And here’s what really impressed me: It doesn’t feel like those old chatbots that gave you three canned answers and then asked you to call customer service.
It actually understands what you’re asking.
Now, is it perfect? Of course not. You still need to give it good information, test its answers, and make sure it knows what it doesn’t know.
But for a small business owner who can’t be available 24/7? This is pretty darn exciting.
